- Personal Details: Names, email addresses, and passwords securely hashed.
- App Usage: Favorite recipes, generated recipes, and UI preferences.
- Camera Data: Images sent to the Vision API are processed ephemerally and are not permanently stored by KitchenAI.
2. Local Processing & AI
KitchenAI takes your privacy seriously by offering on-device and local AI processing. If you select the "Local / On-Device" model in your settings:
- Your chat history, questions, and interactions are processed entirely on your physical device.
- Zero data is sent to our servers regarding those specific chats.
- Local models are downloaded once and remain secure in your device's sandbox.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information collected via our App for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests.
- To facilitate account creation and logon process.
- To manage user accounts and provide user support.
- To protect our Services (e.g., fraud monitoring and prevention).
